Library

Library is fully equipped with E-Granthalaya 4.0 Library Automation Software for Libraries. The library has a wide collection of 2560 books comprising English, Hindi and Sanskrit. This library has 200 Reference Books i.e. Encyclopedia, Dictionaries, Directories, Handbooks, Annual Reports and various subject reference books. The Vidyalaya Library subscribes 04 leading National Newspaper (02 Hindi, 02English). The library has a lot of Online Resources through National Digital Library of India. NPTEL, SWAYAM, E-Pathshala, NCERT, DIKSHA Portal, CBSE Study Materials etc. The library has followed Open Access System and Class Library System for Primary Classes (I-V). Some of the Books are arranged according to subject-wise and almost classified by Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) Scheme. Library policy almost followed by this Vidyalaya and provides the following library services:
1. Students can borrow maximum 02 books during their library periods and Staff can borrow 05 books for 15 days. As per KVS Library policy Subject Teachers can borrow 1 set of Textbook for the whole year.
2. E-Granthalaya 4.0 is working and maintained properly, Library automation software provided by National Informatics Centre (NIC).
3. Class Library has been created for primary classes (I-V).
4. Career Guidance after 10+2 provides to the students by the Librarian in their library periods though CBSE (After 10+2).
5. Library Statistics (Total no. of books, Total No. of magazines subscribed, Newspaper) has been displayed on Notice Board.
6. Library Committee has been formed every year for smooth conducting of Library.
7. Link of Reference sources are displayed on Notice Board for Students, Teachers & Parents like Diksha Portal, NCERT E-Textbooks, E-Pathshala, UBI Fee Payment, E- PGPathshala. National Digital Library of India, CBSE Study Materials etc.
8. CBSE booklet issued on time to time has also kept in Library for Reference. je. Vidhya Pravesh, NEP-2020.
9. Nos. of 450 Books received and donated to the students in PUSTAKOPHAR-2026.
10. Various competitions related reading materials are organized to encourage extra reading in Reading Corner/Career Corner and New Books have been displayed in New Arrival Section.
